With more than fifteen years of varied marketing experiences, Megan Burnside is a strategic marketer who enjoys capturing and synthesizing complex ideas. As the Global Marketing Director of Research & Academic portfolios at LexisNexis, she provides focus, strategy and creativity to marketing activities that connect the right solutions to today’s researchers.
Prior to joining LexisNexis, Megan worked in a wide range of marketing roles from strategy and communications to brand and channel management at Fortune 500 companies like Alliance Data, Resource Interactive, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and Victoria’s Secret.
Megan has her MBA in Marketing Management from The Ohio State University and Bachelor’s of Science in Advertising from Kent State University’s School of Journalism. While at LexisNexis, she has presented at PRSA and IFLA events and is the Communication Chair on the Nexis Solutions Diversity and Inclusion Council. Alongside her career, she is passionate about new media, including how podcasting is bringing audio stories to the masses. Megan writes and produces audio dramas.
