    Two mergers, one industry, different media profiles?

    The announcement last week that the merger of BT and EE had received final Competition and Markets Authority approval was met with a host of media headlines. Using the Nexis database of media sources and Nexis Analyser, we decided to see how well BT/EE managed the communications process around the merger and whether any lessons could be gained from comparing this to similar media profile of another merger in the same industry at a very similar time.
